ReplyDeleteAt the half, GCHS is up 32-17. Lyon County beat these guys in the semifinals last year.
ReplyDeleteI was really disappointed Travis Perry hurt his hand in the SEC tournament. I don't think he would've changed the outcome against Tennessee, but I wish he had gotten to play.
DeleteAt one point in the third quarter, GCHS had a 24-point lead. But then BGHS got hot, and GCHS leads 52-40 with one quarter left. Never sleep on the Fourth Region.
ReplyDeleteGCHS scored the first nine points of the third quarter to go up 41-17. Since then, BGHS has outscored GCHS 29-13. GCHS leads 54-46 with 6:06 left in the season.

ReplyDeleteMalachi Moreno's older brother lost two state title games when he played at Scott County H.S., but Great Crossing is very close to the title now.
ReplyDeleteGCHS wins the State Championship: 71 to 61. We will see Malachi Moreno on the UK team next year.
