The winds are blowing today, and except for a few golfers who did well in the morning, the scores are pretty high. Here are the current leaders:
ReplyDelete1. S. Lowry (IRL): -7 (36 holes)
2. D. Brown (ENG): -5 (36)
3. J. Rose (ENG): -4 (35)
T4. B. Horschel: -2 (36)
T4. D. Burmester (RSA): -2 (36)
T4. S. Scheffler: -2 (36)
Justin Thomas has blown up -- he's 8 over for the day and 5 over for the tournament through 33 holes. So he won't be your winner.
ReplyDeleteXander Schauffele is 1 under through 36, as is Jason Day (AUS). Koepka is 1 over through 36, as is Morikawa and Jon Rahm. Spieth is 3 over through 36. And that's pretty much it for the stars.
ReplyDeleteJustin Rose holes a long birdie putt at the last -- it must have been at least 50 feet -- and he finishes in a tie for second at 5 under par.
ReplyDeleteThat should pretty much do it for the day. Given the wind, I don't think anyone else will get into the top five.
