And that would give us the following matchups, with top 10 teams in bold:
Wednesday, March 15:
LaRue Co. (20-7) v. McCracken Co. (25-5)
(10) Lou. Evangel Christian (27-4) v. (3) N. Oldham (23-5)
(1) Warren Cent. (28-1) v. Pulaski Co. (23-6)
Owensboro Catholic (26-4) v. Boyd Co. (24-5)
Thursday, March 16:
(2) Lex. Catholic (29-2) v. Pikeville (19-7)
(6) Lou. Ballard (24-4) v. Hazard (26-3)
(9) Lyon Co. (26-5) v. (5) Cov. Catholic (25-4)
(4) George Rogers Clark (23-5) v. N. Laurel (21-10)
LaRue County hasn't been to the State Tournament since 1988. Evangel Christian has never been. Hazard won the 14th Region in 2020, but of course the State Tournament was cancelled, so Hazard hasn't actually played in the State Tournament since 2009.
