My guess is that the algorithm isn't properly counting the strength of schools in Louisville and Northern Kentucky, due to the low number of games played so far. But it would be fun to have a season where McCracken County, Lyon County, and Marshall County are all in the top 15.
Big upset at Lexington Catholic today, where Madison Central pounded Warren Central 60-43 in the first round of the White, Greer, & Maggard Holiday Classic. That is a very strange result. Madison Central was 4-4 going into this game, while Warren Central had just cruised through the King of the Bluegrass with four easy wins.
ReplyDeleteTo be fair, Madison Central's four losses were to Lou. Ballard, George Rogers Clark, Collins, and Pulaski County. So their 4-4 record was misleading.
