Kentucky moves to number 8 in the AP Poll

Kentucky is number 8 in the latest AP poll.  The Cats have a record of 78-27 as the number-8 team in the country.  In 1999, UK entered the NCAA Tournament as the number 8 team, and made it to the Elite Eight before they lost to Michigan State -- thus ending their run of three consecutive trips in the National Championship game.  The Cats also won the 2017 SEC Tournament as the number-8 team in the country.  We'll see how they do going forward.
