Album Review: Eleven by Tina Arena

If you search on youtube you can find videos of Tina Arena performing on Australian television when she was just a kid.  She put out her first album in 1989 and now is up to album number 11. She has been fairly consistent putting out an album every 3 years or so. In many ways her career matches that of another Aussie Kylie Minogue. They are both around the same age and both had similar success. A few hits that made it big outside of Australia, but for the most part their success has been in country.

This album is kind of what you would expect from a professional like Arena.  It's a solid collection of  11 songs and she gives a solid performance.  The problem here is that the album doesn't contain any real standout songs.  But still it's a solid album from start to finish. Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
