NBA Update
We were intending to follow our practice of not paying much attention to the NBA Playoffs until the Heat have lost three games in a series, but we have to note that the Washington Wizards and John Wall -- one of our all-time favorite Cats -- have won back-to-back games in Chicago to take a 2-0 lead in their first-round series against the Bulls. I have lived in the D.C. area since 1992, and in that time I'm pretty sure that the former Bullets have only won one playoff series. If they win this one, Wall and the Wizards will be the toast of D.C.

I watched a good bit of the Bullets' Game 2 win, so now I think I might go all NBA up in here for a while, anyway. Last night, I watched most of the Blazers' Game 2 road win over the Rockets, and my analysis would pretty much line up with Jon Hood's:
