U.S. Women's Open -- 5 PM

1. P. Creamer (USA): -3 (69 holes)
2. N.Y. Choi (KOR): +1 (72 holes)
T3. S. Pettersen (NOR): +3 (69 holes)
T3. I.K. Kim (KOR): +3 (70 holes)
T3. B. Lang (USA): +3 (71 holes)
T3. J. Shin (KOR): +3 (72 holes)

This would be a great win for Creamer. She is only 23 years old, and she already has eight tour wins. But she's never won a major, she choked badly in the last two U.S. Opens, and she's been out most of this year with an injury.

It would also be a big deal for the LPGA. Americans have won only 7 of the last 37 events on the LPGA tour, and their failures have really hurt the popularity of women's golf. Creamer, on the other hand, is an emotional and charismatic figure who could be a big star -- if she can keep winning.
