In the Under-17 World Championships, Lithuania (the only place outside Kentucky where basketball is the most popular of all sports) is winning its quarterfinal matchup with Germany after outscoring the hosts 20-9 in the 3d quarter.
The winner of this game will play Poland (5-0) or Serbia (2-3) in the semi-finals, and the winner of that game will meet the USA or Canada for the title.
