British Open - Sunday - 5:16 PM (BST)

Well, this has been one of the most disappointing years for golf I can remember. Tiger's only appeared in seven tournaments, and hasn't been very competitive in any of them. The Masters was pretty good, but final rounds of the U.S. Open and the British Open have been unwatchable.

Oosthuizen just birdied the 12th hole to get to 17 under par, and Casey made a triple bogey on the same hole to fall to 9 under. So this tournament is over with six holes to go. The only remaining drama is whether Oosthuizen will break the record for lowest score (relative to par) in a major tournament. I think the record is 19 under. And then Oosthuizen will probably disappear, along with Graeme McDowell, Lucas Glover, and most of the other major winners in what now increasingly looks like the post-Tiger era.

1. L. Oosthuizen (RSA): -17 (66 holes)
T2. L. Westwood (ENG): -9 (68)
T2. P. Casey (ENG): -9 (66)
T4. M. Kaymer (GER): -8 (68)
T4. H. Stenson (SWE): -8 (67)
