KHSAA Playoffs

Last weekend, we saw one of the biggest upsets in KHSAA football history, Covington Catholic knocked off Boyle County -- who had won 32 games in a row and was the number-1 team in the Commonwealth.  Here are all the results (home teams listed first with MaxPrep rankings in parentheses):

  1. In the Maui Invitational, Memphis led UConn 82-79 with 10 seconds to go. Did Memphis foul UConn to avoid the 3-point shot? They did not. Did UConn make the 3-point shot to send the game to overtime? Yes, they did. I'll never understand this as long as I live.

  2. Memphis led 79-67 with less than 3 minutes to go. Now it's headed to overtime in an 82-82 tie.
