Classic SEC Standings

With only one week left in the regular season, the Classic SEC looks like this, according to the CBS rankings:

6.  Georgia:  9-2

11.  Tennessee:  9-2

14.  Alabama:  8-3

15.  Mississippi:  8-3

31.  Louisiana St:  7-4

34.  Florida:  6-5

46.  Vanderbilt:  6-5

65.  Auburn:  5-6

84.  Kentucky:  4-7

105.  Mississippi St.

Here is the situation in the other Classic conferences:

ACC:  Clemson (12) will play South Carolina (16) for the title this weekend.

Big 10:  Ohio St. (2) wrapped up the title by crushing Indiana (8) on Saturday.

Big 8:  Iowa St. (18) is clinging to the lead over Colorado (22), Kansas St. (25), and Mizzou (28).

Southwest:  Texas (3) will top SMU (7) for the title if the Longhorns can beat Texas A & M (20) in College Station this weekend.

Pac 10:  Oregon (1) has had this locked up for weeks, but Arizona St. (13) is finishing strong.

If we still had the classic bowls, we would be on pace for the following matchups:

Cotton:  (3) Texas v. (4) Notre Dame

Rose:  (1) Oregon v. (2) Ohio St.
