Just like last year I have gone through and predicted every game for the season and you can see the results below.
I'm thinking that we see a bounce back year for Buffalo and New England, with a slide for Miami. I just don't think the Jets will do much, some excitement early on, but then a fade.
I'm also thinking a bounce back for Cincinnati with the Browns fading and the Ravens coming on late in the season. If Pittsburgh got to the playoffs last year with the worst QB play in the NFL I think they'll do better this season.
I do think Houston will get people excited, but then fade later in the season and I think Indy is overrated by most people. I think Jacksonville will be looking at a new coach after the season and really should be looking at a new GM. The Titans will be looking to get a new QB.
KC will rise up late in the year, but it's hard to imagine their injury luck holding up as well as it has the last two seasons. San Diego will sneak into the playoffs ahead of Miami but only because Denver will start slow and Oakland has no QB.
I think Philly is done and will be looking for a new coach after the season, and Dallas will have a solid year with the rest of the East down, but then lose their QB next year to free agency. Washington will feel they have their long term QB and the Giants will have to make a hard choice. Is it the GM, the coach, or both that have to go.
Detroit will fall just short in the regular season, but then put it together in the playoffs. Green Bay will be solid all year, but then come up short in the playoffs. Chicago will be ecstatic about their future and Minnesota will struggle through a year where they have no real QB.
Atlanta will finally put it together and New Orleans will continue to be an OK team. I can't imagine Tampa can repeat what they did last year, they seemed primed for regression and Carolina will end the season still wondering about their QB situation.
The Rams will surprise by winning the division as San Francisco struggles with internal strife and injuries. Seattle will be excited about their future as their defense carries them later in the season and the Cardinals will be happy with the progress they saw from their team this year, primed to make a run next season at the division and the playoffs.
