  22. Number 32: The Captain and Tennille, "Muskrat Love." Casey has a story about how they performed this song at the White House for the President and Queen Elizabeth, and some people in the Queen's entourage were offended. If you can imagine Gerald Ford and Queen Elizabeth sitting in the White House listening to a live performance of "Muskrat Love," then you really have a great picture of what the 1970's were like.

    ReplyDelete
  59. I'm not sure the Seminoles are really focused on the Orange Bowl. Down 21-3, they fumble the kickoff. And then, on the next play, Georgia pitches the ball to a wideout, who is supposed to throw a pass. His receivers are covered, so he simply dashes across the field, and through the entire FSU defense for a 27-yard touchdown run. With just over 10 minutes left in the first half, Georgia leads 28 to 3.

    ReplyDelete
  60. Meanwhile, Ken Pom had Alabama beating Liberty 83 to 74, but instead Alabama won 101 to 56. That's how you move up in Ken Pom. Alabama jumps up to Number 5.
