We had quite a bit to say about the big Dodgers/Giants finale yesterday, so I won't add anything more now.
There's always a nice little moment of relaxation after each round of the baseball playoffs. After all, you can lose the first two games of a seven-game series and still come back and win, so the first game or so feels like a lot of fun compared to the horrors of what you just went through in the last round.
Tonight we only have one game:
7:07 P.M. Central: Boston at Houston (FOX) (series tied 0-0).
Here are the latest odds to win the World Series:
ReplyDeleteLos Angeles: +135 (If you bet $100, you'll win another $135)
Houston: +220
Boston: +450
Atlanta: +550
One of the best parts of Spike Lee's Malcolm X is "West Indian Archie," a Harlem Numbers runner who never keeps paper records of his transactions.
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I had no idea what "Numbers" is until just now. Fascinating.
