The growth of big Protestant high schools like Lexington Christian and Louisville Christian Academy feels like a very significant social change to me. But I'm not sure what it means.
In western Kentucky, the big news was the Murray upset Mayfield -- in Mayfield(!) -- by the score of 25 to 21. As a result, Mayfield dropped 11 spots in the rankings. Meanwhile, Union County has one of its best teams in years. Here are the top teams in our end of the Commonwealth:
34. Graves Co: 7-2
38. Mayfield: 8-1
43. Henderson Co: 6-3
44. Union Co: 8-1
59. Hopkinsville: 5-4
68. Paducah Tilghman: 4-4
