On this last day of Black History Month, Madisonville’s Concerned Citizens Society details (in The Messenger) Hopkins County’s 1866-1941 history of schools, teachers, administrators and rules for its African-American students. These reports have been fantastic all month. I've learned a lot; for example, I learned today there was a "Kitchen" in Hopkins County. Thank you, Concerned Citizens Society.
