Album Review: Beautiful Trauma by Pink




To me this album is a pretty simple review. Drop the first two songs, drop at least one more to get down to 10 songs and you have a very solid pop album. It is mostly an album that is dealing with failed relationships and as a theme it works. Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.

That being said those first two songs are really bad songs. The ballads at the end are too over the top and at least one of them needs to go.

    I think Pink probably would've been one of my favorite musicians had I been born in about 1995. Every song I hear of hers is very listenable and seems to be really purposeful and powerful. But that brand of desperation is hardly ever what I'm looking for in any art form or even in sports right now.
