After listening to it many times I'm still not sure what they did. On some of the album they went back to their electro, pop roots on other songs they continued down the path they began with Tales of Us. Though I like Goldfrapp and find this to be an OK album it was still a bit of a letdown after like their last album so much. I still pull out Tales of Us to listen to on occasion, I can't say I'll be doing that with this album or with any song off of this album.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
Seems to me that the distance from 3 to 2 Stars is a good bit longer than the distance from 2 to 1. Actually, I'd say 5 to 4 Stars is huge, 4 to 3 Stars is pretty big, 3 to 2 Stars is huge, 2 to 1 Stars not so great and 1 to 0 Stars is pretty big. I think the distances line up only perfectly with the distances among As, Bs, Cs, Ds and Fs when we were at Heath.
