Nice Elvis Costello choice on the opening MIDI ... at first, I thought it was a Squeeze song. Occurs to me how much Squeeze songs sounded like Elvis Costello songs or vice versa or whatever.
Not only had the Orioles been to three straight World Series, they also had two of the brightest minor-league prospects in all of baseball in infielder Bobby Grich and outfielder Don Baylor.
It is really odd that you and I had never talked about the baseball drug guys and the hall. We actually went to the Hall of Fame together that one time. I still have a Rollie Fingers postcard from there.

ReplyDeleteI'm still doing the thing where I just repeat verbatim whatever you say that I agree with. That drives me nuts that I do that. It's really annoying.
ReplyDeleteSomebody should really let Robert Brown know about this episode. Robert Brown was a really nice kid, and I hope he's doing great.

ReplyDeleteOh, my ... peppy closing MIDI ... what the heck is this?
ReplyDeleteOh, it's this Everybody Loves the Girl song. I always sing "tiramisu" to the chorus. It's my wife's favorite dessert.
