A Celebration of Home, Kentucky, Sports, Music, and Other Passions
"Finest Worksong" is a really odd choice for an opening song. Even for R.E.M. in 1987.
Next week's episode should be all about September 1987, best we can remember it.
I'm going to try to to get away from podcast speak such as opening responses or transitioning with "Well, ..." or "So, ..." or "The thing is ..."
I also have a bad habit of repeating a sentence of yours that I agree with instead of just saying "yes" or "I agree."
Oh, shut up, Eric ... we've talked about everything before; you don't have to announce that we've talked about one particular thing before.
To be fair, I'm totally right about the films of Joe Namath--amazing.
This 15 minutes we spend praising the Patriots might be the most depressing thing I've ever heard. You and I might well have lost all hope.
Rest in peace, Greg, "freegan," talented IT professional and accepting and cooperative colleague.
I figured it'd be "It's the End of the World As We Know It (And I Feel Fine)," and thank you--I love this song. Perfect choice.
That last song is a Slayer song. For Greg
