"THE FIRST REGION CHAMPIONS LEAD THE DEFENDING STATE CHAMPIONS BY 11 AT INTERMISSION! WHAT A FIRST HALF!"
ReplyDeleteThat was the WNBS AM 1340 commentator, and it really did sound like that--all caps and exclamation points. The Lady Tigers sprinted out to a 22-10 lead, as one of the Butler key players picked three fouls; then, the Bearettes inched as close as 22-16, and Murray closed with a 7-2 spurt.
