We now have commentators on the match, but you can barely hear them over the crowd noise. It's not that the crowd is really loud for this 0-0, South Africa-Sweden women's soccer match in Brazil; it's that the microphone for the commentators is turned really low. Anyway, I'm sure this will be changed, but I like it a great deal. You can hear what they're saying if you really pay attention, but you can tune them out pretty easily if you want. It's kind of like hearing people talking out in the house behind a closed-bedroom door while you're taking a nap to a TV show turned down very low.
Oh, good: no commentary. I love watching sports without commentary.
ReplyDeleteSweden just misses about five minutes into the match.
ReplyDeleteI wonder if Henrik Stenson is watching this.
I really like how soccer players wear those long socks with shorts--it looks very snappy.
ReplyDelete0-0, about 27 minutes in to the first half ...

ReplyDeleteSweden beat South Africa, 1-0, and Canada beat Australia, 2-0. And now we have Brazil leading China, 1-0, early in the second half ...
