The 2016 “Lead PBS Digital Innovator” from Kentucky, James Wampler, an eighth-grade science teacher at Shelby County High School, “believes that students are naturally curious explorers. He believes that technology is a way to connect their inherent curiosity to rich content that can drive and inform their adventures in ways previously unimaginable. He loves that his job allows him to guide students away from distraction, towards discovery, and give them a lens of curious investigation that will benefit them for the rest of their lives.”
