Oh, Kentucky

OK, look, Mr. Toy already knows about the Electric Prunes. And he doesn't want to hear your memories about the show at "Paduka" Tilghman. And he doesn't want to hear your wild theories about who might've been there just because they were at some other show or whatever ...

Here's what Mr. Toy wants to know.

In McCracken County, Williams goes wet, and Hendron stays dry.

Good jobs news from Bowling Green and Hopkinsville.

School funding is down, and black Louisville poverty is up.

Lessons? Learned.

    1. It's called "3 to 5 Live." I was posting these comments with the voice-recognition software on my "smart" phone.

  2. So as I understand it they play requests in the order that they receive them the first song that I heard today was a lonely boy who I think is by an artist named Adam gold something like that I have always liked that song

The next song played was hold on loosely by 38 special I think of this as one of the all-time Western Kentucky hits so it did not surprise me at all to hear hold on loosely on W Sony request program

  3. Now that we've made the turn to the 4 p.m. central power of 3 to 5 live it appears we've gone to a Christmas programming I turn the show back on just a few seconds ago and they were doing some giant Cathedral Choir version of o come all ye faithful it was fantastic

Now they're reading the obituaries so we'll have to wait and see what they come back with next.

    1. What I was trying to say here was that I'm glad Poythress got on track Wednesday night.

Also, I am just stunned by how much drama NASCAR has.

    1. You know, I can understand why Tiger Woods would get more nervous now in major golf tournaments now he did as a young man.

  6. Go Heath explained this song to me in great detail once several years ago, and I really need to go back and see if I still have the explanation somewhere.

  7. Oh, interesting ... OK, we had a request for the same song by different artists ... "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by Bruce Springsteen and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by Randy Travis ... the WSON DJ reports they had a coin toss in the studio, and the winner is ...!
