Henderson's WSON radio station on weekday afternoons has a live call in request program called 325 live
ReplyDeleteIt's called "3 to 5 Live." I was posting these comments with the voice-recognition software on my "smart" phone.
DeleteSo as I understand it they play requests in the order that they receive them the first song that I heard today was a lonely boy who I think is by an artist named Adam gold something like that I have always liked that song
ReplyDeleteThe next song played was hold on loosely by 38 special I think of this as one of the all-time Western Kentucky hits so it did not surprise me at all to hear hold on loosely on W Sony request program
This is a disaster. There's no punctuation.
DeleteAndrew Gold, not Adam.
DeleteHey, Andrew Gold and I have the same birthday!
DeleteIt's a good song, different lyric.
DeleteNow that we've made the turn to the 4 p.m. central power of 3 to 5 live it appears we've gone to a Christmas programming I turn the show back on just a few seconds ago and they were doing some giant Cathedral Choir version of o come all ye faithful it was fantastic
ReplyDeleteNow they're reading the obituaries so we'll have to wait and see what they come back with next.
No, it turns out we just had a couple of Christmas songs there.
DeleteWell as taking a bit we had to get through the Kentucky sports report by the airport is got on track last night and then we had the farm report and now we have some kind of NASCAR daily update
ReplyDeleteWhat I was trying to say here was that I'm glad Poythress got on track Wednesday night.
DeleteAlso, I am just stunned by how much drama NASCAR has.
Oh, my gosh, this also is Andrew Gold.
ReplyDeleteWait ... now I'm starting to think I've gone through this whole Andrew Gold discovery before.
You know, I can understand why Tiger Woods would get more nervous now in major golf tournaments now he did as a young man.

Go Heath explained this song to me in great detail once several years ago, and I really need to go back and see if I still have the explanation somewhere.
ReplyDelete"Sir Duke"! Another great one.
ReplyDeleteOh, interesting ... OK, we had a request for the same song by different artists ... "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by Bruce Springsteen and "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" by Randy Travis ... the WSON DJ reports they had a coin toss in the studio, and the winner is ...!
