This weekend is the last one all year where Kentucky high school football teams will play at home. Only 24 teams are still dancing, and if this week's games are as dramatic as last week's, Commonwealth fans are in for some real drama.
In Mayfield, the Cardinals (who have won three state 1A titles in a row) will take on Louisville DeSales, who are the two-time back-to-back defending 2A champs. That should be quite a game. Another big game will be in Fort Thomas, where the defending 4A champs will host the defending 5A champs.
