I'm tempted to ask whether we can just skip to the inevitable Patriots/Packers match-up in February, but I suppose we have to let the rest of the season play out. At least we may not have to see much more of the Seahawks, who are off to a 2-4 start and who are no longer in the AP's top 10:
1. New England Patriots: 5-0
2. Green Bay Packers: 6-0
3. Cincinnati Bengals: 6-0
4. Carolina Panthers: 5-0
5. Denver Broncos: 6-0
6. New York Jets: 4-1
7. Arizona Cardinals: 4-2
8. Pittsburgh Steelers: 4-2
9. Atlanta Falcons: 5-1
10. Minnesota Vikings: 3-2
The Dolphins jumped from 30 to 20 after their blow-out win at Tennessee, while the Redskins skidded from 21 to 25 after being dominated by the Jets.
This week's big game is in New England, where the all-conquering Patriots will be taking on the number 6 Jets. My guess is that the Jets will find Tom Brady to be more formidable than Kirk Cousins. The Packers, Bengals, and Broncos are on bye, which is a sign that you should be watching the World Series this weekend.
NO. 20!
