Album Review: The Bright Side by Lenka

I'm a Lenka fan. Her music is fun and upbeat and thoughtful, and so I always enjoy listening to her music. I got to listening to this album around the same time I started listening to the Hilary Duff album and it made me think a lot about these two albums in contrast with each other.

In many ways the Lenka album is much better. Lyrically much more interesting and thoughtful and because of that I could better feel what was lacking on the Hilary Duff album. At the same time I found myself getting a bit bored with the album after a bit and it fading into the background for me, while the Hillary Duff album I could listen to all the way through no problem.

Where Breathe In Breathe Out is a good workout album this is a good clean the house album.

Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
