Emma Talley, of Princeton and Caldwell County High School, yesterday won the NCAA Women's Individual Golf Championship at The Concession Golf Club in Bradenton, Fla. Since arriving at the University of Alabama a few years ago, she has now won the U.S. Women's Amateur Championship and the NCAA Championship -- only four other women have accomplished this feat. Oh, and she led the United States to the Curtis Cup last year.
According to the New York Times, Talley said that "God's blessed me with so much, and I just took it and ran with it." There's really nothing more to say after that, other than that we congratulate her, and we wish her the best of luck in this summer's big tournaments.
YEAH!
