So congratulations to Morehead State, which will be moving on to the NCAA Baseball Tournament. Naturally, their first game will be against U of L. The Eagles and the Cardinals are the only teams from the Commonwealth to make the Tournament.
Here is the final Top 20 from Baseball America. The top 8 seeds in the NCAA Baseball Tournament are in italics; the defending national Champion is in bold. You will see that the SEC got its usual fair treatment from the Committee. The only teams ranked in the top 8 that did not get a top seed were Vandy and Texas A & M -- both from the SEC. The only teams outside the top 8 that did get a top seed were Louisville and Miami -- both from the ACC. Par for the course. Let's watch that Duke/Gonzaga game again.
