ReplyDeleteNo Internet last night! It was a crushing blow.
ReplyDeleteBG over Warren Central, 46-43, at WKU in Fourth had to be fantastic.
ReplyDeleteNice try, Bryan Station in the 11th.
ReplyDeleteBoyle County 48 at Lincoln County 46 in the 12th ... I'm going to have to read about that one. Lots of Facebook traffic on that one early in the day Tuesday.
ReplyDeleteSad to see Class A Raceland go down in the 16th.
ReplyDeleteWith the Internet down, we opted to go shopping for next year's snow boots at the Rural King, and I was thrilled to hear that they were playing the Second Region semis over the PA system. Madisonville's 1310 AM was still broadcasting the games (Hoptown over Henderson County, Webster over Trigg) even though Madisonville-North Hopkins had been eliminated the night before. When we got back out to the car, I checked 730 AM, and, being the "Official Station of Maroon Station," they had bugged out of Morganfield to come home and get back to playing Alabama and Tanya Tucker hits.
ReplyDeleteOn Williamsburg ...
ReplyDelete"No, big Clay."
WEZJ's radio call: "They haven't been there since 1946; I was just a small pup at that time!"
Fantastic. Simply fantastic.
