On Saturday, February 1, 1969, the University of Kentucky Wildcats beat Vanderbilt 103-89 at Memorial Coliseum in Lexington. All of UK's Big Three were in good form: Dan Issel had 28 points and 16 rebounds, Mike Pratt had 23 points and 16 rebounds, and Mike Casey had 24 points and 7 rebounds.

ReplyDeleteThis was the SEVENTH game in the 1968-69 season where UK scored over 100 points. Given how much I like offense, I would have really loved this team. The 1968-69 Cats are now 15-2 overall and 9-0 in the SEC. They are also riding a 9-game winning streak.
