I know very little about reggae. Like every other college student in the 80's I was a big Bob Marley fan, but outside of that I don't listen to reggae. SOJA has been around since 1997, putting out their first album in 2000 and so they've made a long career. This is the first time I've heard them and they do a nice job blending reggae and pop. The only complaint I really have about this album is that it is too long at 17 tracks.
If you like reggae you probably know about these guys. If you liked reggae in college like so many of us, then you might find this a fun listen. Good album to clean the house to, or listen to on a beach trip.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
I scrub the toilets in our house (roughly) every Friday, and I'm going to start listening to one "CTH Music" song each time I do so.
