Very little change at the top after a relatively boring week in the NFL. The biggest change this week (which doesn't show up in the standings -- yet) is the knee injury to Arizona quarterback Carson Palmer:
1. New England Patriots: 7-2
2. Arizona Cardinals: 8-1
3. Denver Broncos: 7-2
4. Philadelphia Eagles: 7-2
5. Detroit Lions: 7-2
6. Green Bay Packers: 6-3
7. Indianapolis Colts: 6-3
8. Seattle Seahawks: 6-3
9. Dallas Cowboys: 7-3
10. Kansas City Chiefs: 6-3
The Dolphins (5-4) fell to 15th after a loss to the Lions. The Redskins (3-6) moved from 26 to 25 after a bye.
Believe it or not, we are still giving out byes. This week the Ravens, Cowboys, Jaguars and Jets are on the sidelines.
An amazing week in the NFL -- we have FOUR games featuring top-10 teams. Here is your plan for Sunday:
Noon Central: (8) Seattle at (10) Kansas City (a classic AFC West match-up)
3:25 Central: (5) Detroit at (2) Arizona
3:25 Central: (4) Philadelphia at (6) Green Bay
7:30 Central: (1) New England at (7) Indianapolis
Between the football schedule and the Arctic Vortex, it's like New Year's Day, but in November! So the top-10 should be shaken up next week.
GO, DOLPHINS!
