In the hallway to the men's room at the Owensboro TJ Maxx on Saturday, I met a 50-ish guy wearing a Caldwell County Tigers golf shirt and cap. I said I was sorry about the game Friday night, and I honestly thought he was going to cry. "Things were going so great. He had just scored that touchdown to make it 14-0, and that was it." He didn't even have to mention Elijah Sindelar by name.
ReplyDeleteSindelar says so long.
