Here is the lineup for high school football fans in Western Kentucky. We have a lot of games this week, in part because a number of teams from our end of the Commonwealth are taking on opponents from elsewhere.
McCracken County, having swept Tilghman and Mayfield, now takes on the high school referees of Tennessee, thus bringing back bad memories of a trip to Union City when I was in high school. Meanwhile, the Battle of Fulton is happening earlier than usual, while Tilghman is looking at a likely 0-3 start:
