Through seven holes, Emma Talley of Princeton, Kentucky is two under par at the U.S. Women's Open in Pinehurst, N.C. She is currently tied for the lead.
Emma Talley started on the back nine this morning, and was two under after the 17th hole (which was her eighth hole of the day). She then double-bogeyed the 18th hole, which gave her a 35 on the back nine and left her at even par. She then shot a 40 on the front nine, so that she finished with a five-over par 75. Her big problem was a triple-bogey 8 on the par-5 fifth.
