I also am totally down with the drinks mantra of Dr. Nikki Stone with the Ronald McDonald dental van: "Water, whenever; milk, only with meals; juice, just once; and pop, only at parties."
Back in the 1980s, the on-campus housing people at WKU were insistent that the Herald stop calling them "dorms" and instead use the term "residence hall." I'm wondering if some of those folks are now working for Warren County Parks, which yesterday cut the ribbon on a new "athletic complex" (is that a gym?) and a couple of public tornado shelters at Basil Griffin Park (which back in the 1980s was still known as "Three Springs Park").

"Pop." That always kills me.
ReplyDeleteI'm really, really happy that UK played a baseball game at Brooks Stadium.
