I always thought Nancy Kerrigan came from a rich family. She's not. I just learned this from a Mary Carillo-hosted documentary that NBC is airing, Nancy & Tonya, is showing before the Sochi 2014 closing ceremonies.
ReplyDeleteWhen I found out that they were going to have an Olympic Winter Games just two years after Albertville 1992, I just couldn't believe it. That was so great. Shifting the Winter Games off the cycle of the Summer Games was a brilliant move.
ReplyDeletePretty fantastic that Verne Lundquist was doing the play-by-play, with Scott Hamilton on color, for CBS's coverage of the figure skating at Lillehammer 1994.
