The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers bounced back from their home losses to Georgia State and Ark-Little Rock with a home win over Arkansas State, and road wins at La-Monroe and La-Lafayette. In Sun Belt play, the Tops are now 1-2 at home, and 4-0 on the road. The key to their success so far is that they are: (1) leading the conference in defensive efficiency, and (2) making 34 percent of their three-pointers, which is not great but is an improvement from the dismal percentage they were shooting in non-conference play. So the mysterious Tops have now climbed all the way up to second place in the Sun Belt standings:
80. Georgia St.: 7-0
147. W. Kentucky: 5-2
248. Ark-Little Rock: 5-3
160. Arkansas St: 4-3
206. Tex-Arlington: 4-3
125. La-Lafayette: 3-4
258. La-Monroe: 3-4
253. Texas St: 2-5
252. Troy: 2-6
222. S. Alabama: 1-6
