Good jobs news from Elkton and Louisville.
Murray appears to be getting a winery.
Louisville kisses and makes up with Hunter S. Thompson.
The 270 is down to less than three months of seven-digit dialing.
Christmas parades: Owensboro, Nov. 23; Ashland, Nov. 26; Inez, Nov. 30; Nortonville, Dec. 1; Elkton, Lebanon and Maysville, Dec. 6; Marion and Shelbyville, Dec. 7, and Evarts, Dec. 8. (Marion is looking for a grand marshal, by the way.)
Greenville and Russellville are getting the party started. Murray's "Festival of Lights" is under construction. And while Shelbyville's "Celebration of Lights" will continue, the horse-and-carriage rides have been canceled--reportedly because of a disrespect for the horses, according to a Todd Martin article in The Sentinel-News.
Given the broohaha around the post-game handshakes, I'm a little surprised this story from Williamsburg (and the KHSAA's response) hasn't made a little more hay either nationally or in Bangladesh.
