What a year they're having in Kansas City! A huge year so far for the Dodgers, Chiefs, and Alabama football -- my 11-year-old self would be ecstatic, and my 47-year-old self is pretty happy:
1. Denver Broncos (6-0)
2. Seattle Seahawks (5-1)
3. Kansas City Chiefs (6-0)
4. New England Patriots (5-1)
5. New Orleans Saints (5-1)
6. San Francisco 49ers (4-2)
7. Indianapolis Colts (4-2)
8. Green Bay Packers (3-2)
9. Cincinnati Bengals (4-2)
10. Detroit Lions (4-2)
The Dolphins (3-2) are 14th; the Redskins (1-4) are 28th. The only teams lower than the Redskins are the Vikings, Giants, Bucs, and Jaguars.
The best game of the week is the Sunday night game -- # 1 Denver at # 7 Indianapolis. The only other game featuring two teams in the top 10 matches too franchises that aren't exactly accustomed to success -- the # 9 Bengals at the # 10 Lions.
I imagine the AP will put Seattle at No. 1 and Denver at No. 2 this coming week, but hooray for the 7-0 Chiefs!
