No Saturday games this weekend -- which is the way it ought to be. Plus district play is starting. We get a lot of bad games in district play, because there are too many classes in Kentucky high school football. But I would love to be in Princeton to when Ballard comes in to play Caldwell County. Ballard has outscored their opponents by a total of 248 points to 42. The Bombers' schedule hasn't exactly been Murderers' Row, but it never is, and they don't usually win their first five games by 248-42. It will be interesting to see how they do in Princeton.
Here are the games in Western Kentucky (home teams listed first):
Caldwell Co. (5-0) v. Ballard Mem. (5-0)
Calloway Co. (3-1) v. Obion Central (Tenn.)
Christian Co. (1-3) v. Hopkinsville (2-3)
Crittenden Co. (3-1) v. Muhlenberg Co. (3-2)
Ft. Campbell (2-3) v. McCracken Co. (2-2)
Gibson Co. (Tenn.) v. Fulton Co. (0-3)
Hancock Co. (0-4) v. Union Co. (3-1)
Hopkins Co. Cent. (0-5) v. Trigg Co. (2-3)
Marshall Co. (0-4) v. Mayfield (5-0)
Owensboro (4-1) v. Madisonville-N. Hopkins (2-2)
Owensboro Apollo (1-3) v. Graves Co. (3-1)
Paducah Tilghman (1-4) v. Henderson Co. (4-1)
S. Fulton (Tenn.) v. Fulton City (1-3)
I think thats an excellent point about the Bombers.
