Oh, Kentucky

    Channel 6 has pre-empted Dr. Phil to monitor some heavy storms that are moving along, roughly, the Crittenden/Caldwell county line. The radar image that they are showing is usually cast against a high-enough-level map of Kentucky that only the bigger towns in this area--moving clockwise from the southwest, Eddyville, Fredonia, Marion, Providence, Dawson Springs and Princeton--appear by name. However, every so often, Channel 6 is bearing down to track a particular area of concern, and we get to see some town names that the Kentucky desk doesn't often have the pleasure of coming across, among them ...

    -- Farmersville (here's a restaurant that's in Princeton, but it's on Farmersville Road, and it looks goooooooooooooood!);
