The Ashes, Match Two, Day Three

ESPN commented that today was a day for England fans to "avenge all those miserable moments in the 1990's when they simply couldn't compete."  Certainly England was unstoppable today, and it seems very unlikely that Australia can catch them.  The only question now is at what point England will stop batting in order to give themselves enough time to get all ten of Australia's wickets.  Remember that if Australia is still batting at the end of Day 5, the match is a draw -- no matter how far ahead England may be.  At this point, that would appear to be Australia's only hope:

ENGLAND:  694
AUSTRALIA:  128
INNINGS:  Top of the 2d
AT BAT:  England
WICKETS REMAINING:  5

When I watched Eng humiliated in Adelaide in 2006 after scoring 500 I never thought I'd see a day like today. #Ashes
