If you are like me you have never heard of Steve Aoki but he fits into the mold of a digital age type in music. He is two things. One he is a DJ who has made his bones making dance re-mixes of songs from Michael Jackson to Weezer. Two he is a label owner, and he's had some indie bands make it big like The Killers.
In 2012 he came out with his first solo effort and though it is a bit long at 13 tracks its a good collection of dance songs. If you were going to have a dance party or you were looking for a bunch of songs for a workout mix this would be a good album to go to. I think he should have cut it short at eight tracks, but there really isn't a bad track on the album just feels a little long when you are listening to it for fun.
Following the Rhapsody rating method I give it 2 out of 5 stars for Not Bad.
