The Kentucky Wildcats went to LSU for a huge series over the weekend between two top-ten squads. But Baton Rouge has never been a friendly locale for Kentucky teams, and the Cats were crushed in all three games: 11-1 on Friday, 9-1 on Saturday, and 11-4 on Sunday. UK's record in the SEC falls to 6-6, and they trail the first-place Vanderbilt Commodores by five games in the SEC East. This weekend the Cats will be home to face the Tennessee Volunteers (3-9 in league play), and they will hope to get back on track.
Meanwhile, keep an eye on Louisville. The Cards have been pretty much unbeatable in 2013, so they could be Omaha-bound.
