Only four games last night, but a huge win for Pleasure Ridge Park. After being eliminated by Bullitt East in the regional final during each of the last two seasons, PRP got its revenge, using a slow-down attack to beat Bullitt East 40-33. The Panthers were paced by Taywan Taylor, who will be playing football for Western Kentucky next year. Taylor had a game-high 14 points and went 6-6 from the line down the stretch. PRP will take on Butler for the Sixth Region crown.
In the 16th Region, Fleming County (27-6) eliminated Ashland Blazer 81-72 in double overtime. Fleming county advances to the Regional Final against Rowan County.
Fifty-eight teams are still dancing, but tonight is a big one, with many regional semi's -- as well as the 16th Region Final -- being held. We will be paying particular attention to the First Region semi-final between Graves County and Lone Oak, as well as the Second Region semi-final between Madisonville-North Hopkins and Hopkinsville.
