Still hoping to see a basketball game late last night, I tuned in Patrick Patterson and the Houston Rockets against the Golden State Warriors for about 10 minutes. What amazing athletes those guys are! And what skilled basketball players they are!
And what a boring activity it was to watch--and, it seemed, even to participate in.
I'm honestly starting to wonder whether the game of basketball is challenging enough of athletes of this size, strength and speed who practice their skills and study their craft year-around.
I think most folks other than LeBron James and Kevin Durant find basketball pretty challenging.
ReplyDeleteFor what it's worth, Number2Son doesn't understand why players can't make close to 100 percent of their open three-point shots. He thinks they should just practice more.
