Coach Cal: Keep Hope Alive

Yesterday, Coach Cal issued a rather interesting statement urging UK fans not to give up on the team or the season.  Calipari is pretty good with words.  I particularly liked the statement:  "We can still write our own story."  I also liked:  "No life raft is going to be thrown at us."

As always, I trust in Coach Cal.  Having said that, while I definitely think UK has suffered from a lack of effort, and a lack of basketball intelligence, my own belief is that their biggest problems are a lack of size, a lack of athleticism, and a lack of talent.  I'm afraid that even at their best, they just aren't very good.

But maybe they will prove me wrong.
